    It's been too long!
Life, has drastically changed for me since the last time I posted an entry on this thing.
I am now married and living in Chicago with Jason and our puppy. I am a manager at Target, and things are going quite well. I really miss the simple life of college in Marquette, but I am glad for the change. I miss my buddies at NMU and my crazy sorority sisters. I've been living here since May, and it all feels so natural for me, like I'm supposed to be here. I'm definitely a city girl deep down. I love the city life, and never want to leave. Kirsten came to visit this weekend and it's just funny how my best friend and I have been apart for like 5 years now and every time we see each other again, it's like no days have passed, we just pick up where we left off and are unconditional friends. I love her. Wow, we've been best buds for like 10 years. THAT my friends, is insane. Things are great, right now...please keep in touch!!!

    Peace.

    FIREWORKS!
Lesson #1: Don't set off fireworks! Just don't! They explode in your hand, make your life flash before your eyes, almost kill you and your roomie, and most importantly they make the big, bad cops come and give you a fucking ticket. Then you have to go to the court house and talk to the magestrate who will read you your rights and tell you that you could face up to 90 days in jail and get up to a $500 fine. Then you will end up with a $75 fine. Lucky You!

It has been way too long!!!
So yeah, it has been soo long since I have even been on livejournal. WOW. So my summer is going great. Although, I miss Jason a whole bunch. He's working downstate as a camp director at a Boy Scout Camp. I get to see him in two weeks though...well less than that! And let me tell you, I am SOOOO FREAKING excited. Working at Target is proving to be very fun. Also, I love my roomies and my new house. Hopefully next year will be as fun as this summer has been so far.

    :-)

    Peace in the middle east!

    Lyrics with multiple meanings...
    I've heard it said
That people come into our lives for a reason
    Bringing something we must learn
    And we are led
To those who help us most to grow
    If we let them
And we help them in return
    Well, I don't know if I believe that's true
But I know I'm who I am today
    Because I knew you:

Like a comet pulled from orbit
    As it passes a sun
Like a stream that meets a boulder
    Halfway through the wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
    But because I knew you
I have been changed for good

    It well may be
That we will never meet again
    In this lifetime
So let me say before we part
    So much of me
Is made of what I learned from you
    You'll be with me
Like a handprint on my heart
And now whatever way our stories end
I know you have re-written mine
    By being my friend:
Like a ship blown from its mooring
By a wind off the sea
Like a seed dropped by a skybird
    In a distant wood
Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
    But because I knew you:

    Because I knew you:

I have been changed for good

And just to clear the air
    I ask forgiveness
For the things I've done you blame me for

But then, I guess we know
    There's blame to share

And none of it seems to matter anymore

Like a comet pulled Like a ship blown
From orbit as it Off it's mooring
Passes a sun, like By a wind off the
A stream that meets Sea, like a seed
    A boulder, half-way Dropped by a
Through the wood Bird in the wood

Who can say if I've been changed for the better?
I do believe I have been changed for the better?

    And because I knew you:

    Because I knew you:

    Because I knew you:
I have been changed for good.

    Holy Wah!
You know, I'm sick and tired of holding this in. I've been thinking A LOT about this time last year, and in doing so I keep thinking of one person who I honestly considered my BEST friend. I do miss this person, but not so much because of the way they have been treating me whenever we come in contact. And honestly I don't want anymore contact...cause it always just makes me angry inside. This person is doing the same thing to me and 'our friends' as this person got upset with me about last semester. However, I'm not upset with this person, because I know what it's like to be in love. But they lost a friend. :-/
    I'll be an acquaintance...but that's it.

Anyways, also this time last year...Jason and I started dating. How cute! I remember every little bit of it, and it makes me smile. Sure, we have our issues like anyone else...but I'm truly happy...and man before this time last year I was sooo unhappy. Our one year is April 1st. How crazy!

    Now for something completely random...
    *I love snow days.
*I love my new movie star sun glasses...sara says they're my bitch glasses.
    *I heart my new purse...(go figure, I got a new purse...haha)
*The Broadway Musical Wicked is just wonderful, as is Rent...and a ton other.
*I want to move to new york when I graduate and take a break...and just live there. HAHA.
*My sapphire ball is next week and I LOVE my dress.
*We leave for the Joe Louis Arena in D-Town on Friday at 3am.
*I love singing in harmony with random songs on my computer.
*I actually had fun while practicing for three hours today. *PHEW*
*Friday is going to be a drunken mess...:-D holler!

    ...that is all for now.

    Have a happy day...

    Love, Amberella!

    ...Oh, you know...
So yeah, I'm aware that I don't update nearly as much as I used to, but I just never feel the need to anymore. Strange. Overall Spring Break was just 'alright', could have been better...but it wasn't THAT bad. I actually got a lot off of my mind and to tell you the truth, right at this current moment I have no worries and I'm not sad. So that's a plus. I did some hanging out with some pretty sweet people over the past week. And I did get to spend some much needed talk time with my baby.

The hockey games this weekend were a success so that means that on Friday we (the pep band) will be traveling down to the Joe Louis Arena on Friday morning!!!! YAY. Yay for a fun trip...I haven't been on a band trip since, *gasp* THE WASHINGTON TRIP!!!! OMG!!!

Anywho...a new week is about ready to start and I have actually done all of my homework, minus Sociology...but I'm totally slacking off on that class...I need to get my butt in gear with that.

    Hope everyone is doing well...

    Love ya...

    Spring Break...holler...
So, since I'm staying up here over break I decided that I was going to do some major cleaning on my room...well, I did a TON of that tonight...lol AND I reimaged my computer...wow I'm soo accomplished. Man, it's hot it here, I should open the window!

You know, I'm excited to get all of this homework done...and just relax for a lot of days. I do need to get my observations done. That'll be a good thing! Yay for getting caught up! On EVERYTHING.

I also plan on spending some quality time at Jason's in my brand new bed! I heart it. Anywho, I'm out for the night, it's bed time. Yay for being accomplished!!!

    Peace out!

    My effing knee...
So thank you Andy for screwing up my knee...aside from being a little dramatic from the pain, I must say that my bruised knee hurts insanely bad. I went to bed druged up and in pain, woke up in pain...took drugs...and went to class drugged up and numb. Oh well!! I'm really looking forward to some major alone time this weekend. Well until Tuesdayish. Then I'll spend some quality time with Jason. In a way, I miss living mostly by myself at home. That only child aloneness was actually very nice. Mainly for the fact that I used crying to release any emotions that I was bottling up...my room was basically my safe haven, now...because there are people around a lot, I can't just cry!

So, during spring break I'm planning on doing some major organization things...like with school stuff, and maybe clean my room hardcore and get rid of unneccessary things that clutter my world. I need to practice some, work on macgamut...and observe for MU349! Hopefully I can get all of that finished AND maybe find a job.

I'm just kinda chillin in the lobby of TFA with my leg up on a chair...being social. I have sociology and band, and then the break begins!!!!! HOLLER!

I wanna watch RENT! And I will tonight with jen!!! :-D

    Peace out!

Words of wisdom that I should listen to!!!
    Live every moment you have.
Always look back, but never try to go back.
Never forget who you are or where you've been.
Never try to become that person again.
    Let yourself change.
    Don't avoid pain.
Don't be oblivious to reality, but don't live in it.
    Don't rush.
Be the exact opposite of everyone else, naturally.
Be afraid of the dark... and the light. And then conquer your fear.
Shriveling back from your own greatness can be good, but not forever.
Swelling past what you should be can be good, but not always.
Take a breath, and be yourself. And then, in the next breath, take a different perspective.
Never miss an opportunity to play in the rain and get soaking wet.
    Get cold.
    Get hot.
Live as much as you can, because you need something to write about.
    Don't become.
    BE!!!
